            The bee colony rental is intended to provide the prospective beekeeper with the opportunity to have a beehive at his/her own place, to learn through assisting the experienced beekeeper with the hive care, and to observe the bees year around without taking the risks (losing of the bees  due to the lack of experience or diseases, having to sell the bees due to the neighbor complaints, change of mind regarding the wish to keep the  bees, etc.).  The price doesn't include the honey produced by the colony, but the customer will have the option to buy out any volume of the honey produced by the colony at the half price (of the current market price). ApiGuru is working on offering a line of different backyard hive designs (Langstroth, Top-bar hives) to offer the future beekeepers not only a pleasure of learning but also a choice of the hives that can be a decorative addition to their backyards and gardens.

            If the Apiguru Inc. has the colonies available for rental, they can be brought to you any time during the active beekeeping season.  You don't have to wait for spring to start learning the art of beekeeping!
